Is my data secure with offers in Salesforce?

This depends on whether data (e.g. on products, prices or discounts) is transferred to third-party systems. In this case, the security of this provider, the system and data protection regulations must be checked.

To be on the safe side, you can use a "Salesforce native app" for quotes in Salesforce.

By default, appero quote only uses the Salesforce platform and does not transfer any data to third-party systems.

Does Salesforce not offer any offers as standard?

The standard CRM licenses (Sales Cloud) include a simple solution for creating quotations in Salesforce. However, this offers hardly any customization options and automatic calculations, e.g. on the basis of discount scales.

What is Salesforce CPQ?

Salesforce has acquired various CPQ solutions through various company acquisitions. In particular, Salesforce offers a comprehensive CPQ solution as part of its Revenue Cloud.

The Revenue Cloud covers the entire areas of CPQ & invoicing, contract management and B2B commerce.

In all CPQ solutions, a special focus is placed on the "Configure" aspect, i.e. the configuration rules as known, for example, from the online configuration of a car. Salesforce CPQ is therefore characterized by a high level of complexity and, due to the large range of functions, also by high costs.
