Media Impact

Media Impact is the largest cross-media marketer in Germany. Media Impact bundles the national media offerings of Axel Springer SE and FUNKE MEDIENGRUPPE and other partners in the print, online and mobile sectors.

Challenge / Objective

Media Impact useddifferent systems for the print and digital divisions. Automatic real-time pricing was not possible due to incomplete system integration. In some cases, free text fields, manual input and printed price lists were used. Communication took place via email, which led to frequent queries. Approvals were not sufficiently documented in some cases
With the introduction of appero quote, all processes were to be handled and documented using a standardized system in order to work more efficiently in terms of time and costs.

Task

From September 2017 to September 2018, the quotation management system was converted to appero quote. Once the tool had been successfully installed, it was configured and the quotation management system was continuously developed.

Solution

Media Impact was able to achieve the following improvements by introducing the Sales Cloud and appero quote:

  • Quickly created and immediate quotes integrated into opportunities
  • By installing appero quote, quotations are now created with automatic real-time pricing and an integrated approval process
  • With the help of a consistent sales cycle, sales management has been optimized in terms of predictability and influenceability.
